Established in 2006, Spa Bali International Academy (SBIA) is a regional leader in spa education. It offers small and personal classes whereby students are nurtured to reach their full potential. Successful graduates have gone on to work as experienced spa therapists across the Indonesian archipelago as well as at award-winning wellness centres overseas.
As a practice-orientated centre, the core emphasis for all students enrolled at SBIA is hands-on training to develop both technical and intuitive skills. Theoretical knowledge relating to the human anatomy, spa etiquette and so on is also essential, but only constitutes 30% of the whole curriculum.
